Important Reminders

Transportation-If the need arises to change your child's transportation, please send a written note describing the change. Remind your child to bring me the note upon arrival so that there will be time to have the change approved by the office.

Homework-Your student should be reading Monday-Thursday nights for 30 minutes. Try to schedule this at the same time each day to build a consistent habit! Students will then respond to the text in their reading log composition notebook. I am currently assigning the type of response so that we can practice the different options. Eventually students will make their own choice. Students also have a math practice assignment each evening.

Agendas-Agendas are a very important daily tool for your child to use. Students are responsible for writing homework assignments down each day as well as reminders about field trips, and special school activities. Please check and sign (initial) your child's agenda each day for their assignments as well as possible teacher communication. Please feel free to write notes on the agenda as I will check it each morning.
